“The individual who is willing to fulfill the demands of rigorous self-examination and self-knowledge, if they follow through, will discover important truths about themself, and also have a psychological advantage: they will deem them self worthy of serious attention and interest. Taken the first step towards the foundations of their consciousness - towards the unconscious, the only accessible source of religious experience.

It’s not to say what we call the unconscious is identical with God or set up in their place.

It is the medium from which the religious experience seems to flow.”
