Tarentola mauritanica

Also known as the Juvenile Moorish Gecko 

Spend much of their time climbing 

Their toes bend backwards to ours

They most often inhabit boulders or walls in dry, warm, areas. 

Generally nocturnal but can be seen in day

they are shy and nervous when handled

Best to handle as little as possible
