Sense

The senses, like a family of five, usually work in harmony, but sometimes I feel like giving one a break to let another take the spotlight. There are moments when I want to rest my eyes and let my ears fully tune in and become aware of the sounds around me. And then there are times when I give my ears a break, allowing my nose to take in new scents and imagining the world without relying on sight. Sometimes, my senses work together seamlessly, while other times, they take turns being the primary focus or even compete for attention. While riding the train to Hyde Park, I close my eyes and immerse myself in the sounds of the underground. In that moment, I lost track of my physical presence and felt as if I were floating, being carried along by the movement of the train and the rhythm of the tracks. Baddum Baddum. Baddum Baddum.
